It would be great if there were more comprehensive features for space permissions (at least for the current space):

http://builder.adaptavist.com/x/ax

For example, I'd like to know if someone can export pages, can they delete pages, etc?

The key reason I want this flexibility is for Builder menus (which will soon be macro based). Such a feature would allow us to show and hide the items on the edit and view menu.

So, for very granular space privileges for the user:

page-create
page-export
page-remove
page-restrict
news-create
news-remove
comments-create
comments-remove
attachments-create
attachments-remove
mail-remove
space-export

For page privileges for the user:

page-edit - ie. can this user edit the page, taking account of both the page-create priv and also any page level restrictions

Then some seemingly odd ones:

mail-configured - ie. if a mail archive is configured for the space (no point showing a link to mail if there is no mail in the space)

And some more page specific things:

children-shown - is the child pages display flag set?
comments-shown - is the comments display flag set?
page-watched - is the page being watched?

And obviously:

space-watched - is the space watched?

The some for server privileges:

server-admin - ie. is the user a server admin?
can-create-space - ie. can they create new spaces?

If I think of any more, I'll let you know
