 Description  « Hide
The "Edit Data" view is formatted oddly when using the default theme in Confluence 2.9 (same theme as in 2.8, I believe). The notation guide appears in its entirety before the actual data view. See attached screen shot.

To rule out problems with panels or other complex formatting, I'm attaching a second screen shot with a much simpler page. The source of that page is:

Sample Data: {text-data:Sample Data}

How does this look in the edit view?

Hi Tony,

Scaffolding currently only supports 2.7 or earlier. We're currently working on getting it running in 2.8, and 2.9 will follow that. The target is to have 2.8 compatibility out by the end of August and 2.9 in mid September. It could be earlier if there aren't too many significant changes between them, but you never know with Confluence...

David

We need to upgrade shortly, and are currently running QA against everything for 2.9. We'll consider holding back to 2.8, as the timing for that is closer to our next upgrade window. However, happy to do a bit of testing to support the effort, as long as you don't mind getting a few bug reports in advance of official support for 2.9...

Sure, feel free to log error reports. They'll be very useful once we get to addressing that release. Hopefully most of them will be resolved with the 2.8-compatible release...

Confluence 2.9 will be supported in version 3.1.0.

We are currently deciding if/when we can update to Confluence 2.9 - basically we have to decide if we can do this before the start of the new University semester in October or not.
Our only showstopper is the scaffolding plugin. What is the current timeframe for 3.1.0?

Thanks,
Michael

I'm yet to determine exactly how much has been broken, but it's my current top priority, so hopefully within two week, less if possible.

This has been fixed for Confluence 2.9.
