 Description  « Hide
Linking plugin (version 2.4.2) is not running properly, when Java 1.4 is used.
I'm getting:

processMacro Unexpected error formatting macro: link-page
java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: java.lang.StringBuffer.append(Ljava/lang/CharSequence;)Ljava/lang/StringBuffer;
at org.randombits.confluence.supplier.SupplierAssistant.processValues(SupplierAssistant.java:155)

Is it possible to make this plugin compatible with Java 1.4?
We are constrained by BEA Weblogic 8.1 and cannot run Confluence on Java 1.5 yet.

Please tell me whether you consider this to be implemented.

The plugin is intended to work with Java 1.4. We'll look into it for the next release.

David,

any timelines for the new version? I don't want to rush, it's just I need to tell something to my users. Unfortunately we cannot move to Java 5 in our company

The new version should be released in a week or two. The update is required for a current project we're working on so it should happen as part of that process.
